West Midland Safari Park will open new safari lodges this summer where guests can stay overnight – and watch elephants from their rooms.
Staying in a luxurious safari lodge overlooking elephants and cheetahs, wandering around the landscape is not an experience you would expect in the UK.
However, that’s exactly what West Midland Safari Park is offering with brand new safari lodges.
The park will offer lodges right next to the updated animal habitats, with lodges overlooking both the African elephant’s house and the galleys home in the impressive safari park.
There will be eight luxury lodges located entirely within wildlife sanctuaries in their outback areas.
They are currently under construction to open in the summer of 2020. Still, the park has given a refined look by releasing concept images for the incredible accommodation.
It also sounds like a pretty cool experience.
For example, elephant lodges will feature thatched roofs, open space living areas with lounge and dining, spacious bedrooms, and a large balcony with outdoor seating.
The bedrooms will have direct views of the habitat, so you can watch the elephants without having to get out of bed.
There will also be two single-story lodges in the gazebo habitat, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning animals’ views.
Oh, and there’s no need to tear your vision to prepare meals. Instead, Safari Lodges short vacations will offer chef-prepared meals, unique views of the animals, and admission to Safari Park and its attractions.
The park’s summer visitors will also receive wristbands for the Adventure Theme Park rides.
Currently, the park has not opened reservations or disclosed how much the overnight stay would be.
However, suppose you want to make a reservation. In that case, you can visit the official safari lodges website for more information and the latest updates.
