Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the wild with elephants? If so, you might love an overnight stay at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort.
The resort in Thailand has unique rooms called Jungle Bubbles. These transparent bubble suites offer a cozy ambiance as you watch the elephants go about their daily livings.
The resort has 2 bubble rooms located on high wooden floors. Tailor-made by Eye In The Sky, the bubble suits are made from see-through high-tech polyester fabric. As a result, they offer beautiful and uninterrupted views of the incredible creature outside and the starry night sky above.
Both rooms are fully air-conditioned and have 235 m² of space inside. Each room has a seating space and bedroom, a king-size bed, and complete with a seating area. There is also a private, self-contained bathroom equipped with delicate toiletries.
This resort also houses a 160-acre Elephant Camp where visitors can interact with elephants up close in their natural habitat. Rescued from Thailand’s streets, 22 elephants are currently residing at this resort with their trainers. The resort collaborates with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation to continuously support them.
This resort invites students to further educate about elephants and their behavior during the country’s annual National Elephant Day. The trip showcases these gentle giants’ lifestyle and the resort’s effort to take care of them. By integrating elephant encounters into their offerings, this resort hopes to encourage the public to engage with elephants in a non-intrusive way.
Guests can choose to purchase a bubble experience as an optional overnight activity in addition to the hotel accommodation. Room rates start from THB 17700 (about $570) for 2-people per night. This includes 24-hour room service and access to a dinner basket, tea/coffee, and minibar making facilities.
